Authentic materials

To support the cultural curriculum, Weiter geht's! is based in large part on a corpus of authentic materials collected specifically for the project. Over 100 hours of interviews (about 1000 pages transcribed) and over 30,000 custom-shot photographs form the basis from which the best and most appropriate materials were chosen. Wherever possible we have utilized authentic imagery rather than generic pictures which are common in learning software. In addition, a variety of authentic German texts are used to equip learners with reading skills necessary for more advanced German courses.
